The City of Upper Arlington, LifeLong Learning Division will once again be offering Italian Cooking Classes at The Culinary Table instructed by Annette Bellisari Johnson.
Spring/Summer Classes being offered are:
April 28th - Italian Spring Cooking: This is seasonal Italian cuisine at its finest. The Culinary Table staff prepares Risotto with Shrimp, Saffron and Asparagus; Veal Scaloppine with Artichokes, Pine Nuts and Olives; Smashed Peas and Baby Potatoes with Mint; and Light-as-Air Vanilla Cake with Caramel Glaze. Sample the dishes and receive the recipes. Bring a beverage of choice, alcohol permitted.
May 19th - Best Pasta Sauces Ever: These delicious Italian specialties give pasta a new twist. The Culinary Table staff prepares Spinach Linguine in Savory Leek Cream; Orecchiette with Fresh Ricotta, Basil and Diced Tomatoes; Fusilli in Spicy Fennel- Sausage Sauce; Conchiglie with Spicy Broccoli and Pecorino; Riga- toni Gratin with Gorgonzola Cream; and Linguine in Fragrant Basil Pesto. Sample the dishes and receive the recipes. Bring a beverage, alcohol permitted.
June 23rd - Spicy Italian: Spice up your repertoire with these authentic Italian selections. The Culinary Table staff prepares Cavatelli Pasta with Spicy Sausage Ragu and Three Cheeses; Spice-Rubbed Roasted Pork Tenderloin with Fresh Chili Sauce; Roasted Sweet Pepper Medley with Chili-Basil Oil; and Chili- Laced Molten Chocolate Cake. Sample the dishes and receive the recipes. Bring a beverage, alcohol permitted.
